My approach focuses on utilizing a holistic, strengths-based approach when it comes to anxiety, complex trauma, and other mental health challenges.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for past disturbing memories and related events. I also use skills and techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
As a clinician I have worked with survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence and/or human trafficking. I also have significant experience working with adults recovering from substance use disorders. My professional experience also includes working with marginalized communities including women, immigrant communities, and LGBTGEQIAP+ folx.
